We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, phone number, email address, service address and payment details — and information generated through your use of our app, such as booking history, service preferences, ratings/reviews, and device/notification tokens used to keep you updated on your bookings.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, schedule and deliver pest-control services, process payments and refunds, send booking and service updates, respond to support requests, prevent fraud, and improve our services. We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to providing and improving our services.
4. Signing In & Communication
You can sign in with your Google account or by verifying your phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your verified email address and the display name on your Google account, which we use to create your account and pre-fill your profile — you can change the name we show at any time. We do not receive or store your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, contacts, Drive or any other Google service. If you sign in by phone, we send a one-time password (OTP) via WhatsApp, SMS or a verified phone-authentication provider such as Google Firebase. Your phone number is also required when you book a service, so our technician can reach you. We may send transactional and promotional notifications about your bookings, wallet, offers and referral rewards; promotional preferences can be managed from within the app.
5. Sharing With Third Parties
We share limited information with trusted service providers strictly to operate our platform — for example, payment gateways (Razorpay) to process payments, Google Firebase for sign-in and Google Sign-In for account authentication, WhatsApp/SMS providers to deliver OTPs and notifications, and our field technicians to complete your booking. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and as required to provide services, resolve disputes, and comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations. If you delete your account, we deactivate it and retain only what the law requires us to keep.
7. Your Rights
You can view and update your profile information from within the app at any time. You may request account deletion from the Profile section of the app or by writing to us — we will action it in line with applicable law, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including encrypted connections and access controls — to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we continually work to strengthen these protections.
